Flaxman is a modular typeface that, until recently, only existed as print blocks in Camberwell College of Art's letterpress. As a celebration of the typeface and in order to promote the university and its facilities, the Finishing Flaxman workshop invited participants to attempt to create characters and images using Flaxman's modules.

The over-sized modules were made by hand from wooden blocks for the purpose of this workshop.
